WORKSHOP: Meditation for Creatives

  • Mettlesome Theater 800 Taylor St, Ste 9-156 Durham, NC, 27701 United States (map)

Workshop Description: What blocks your creativity, and what sets it free? Join us to discover how mindfulness can transform your creative process. By learning to settle the mind and body, we become better instruments for our art—whatever that art may be.

What we’ll do:

  • Learn accessible meditation techniques to find stability and focus.

  • Engage in interactive exercises involving movement, speaking, and listening.

  • Build a foundation for a daily practice that supports your art and your life.

Come ready to move, play, and reconnect with your creative spark.

Workshop Length: 2 hours

What Should I Bring? Comfy clothes for movement. Please bring a full water bottle. If you would like to bring a yoga mat to lie down during portions of the workshop, please do. Exercises can also be done while seated in a theater chair.

Please read our Lab FAQ & Policies and Covid Policies before signing up for a class or workshop.
