Workshop Description: You'll learn how to make up songs on the spot, with an emphasis on scene-based musical improv, song structure, and group singing. We'll cover how to go from a scene into a song, what kinds of scenes call for what kinds of songs, and the unique opportunities for comedy and emotion that musical improv presents.
You'll learn how to sing BANGING group numbers, and how to provide musical side support, backup singing, and choreography. Whether this is your first musical improv workshop or you’ve had a taste and are looking for a deeper dive, you'll be sure to learn something new and have fun doing it, all in a welcoming, supportive environment.
