Building on the skills of 301’s game-driven longform, this class introduces students to openings and group games as key components of the Harold structure, a cornerstone improv form.
MONDAYS
Continued exploration of writing sketch comedy. Learn additional common sketch structures, and workshop sketches weekly.
WEDNESDAYS
Learn the core concepts of longform comedic improv. Students will cover scene-work mechanics and heightening the game of the scene.
THURSDAYS
Create characters and worlds that combine to form a unified 25-minute longform improv piece.
The key to every improv scene is finding "the game," but what is it? This workshop will teach you the basics of creating an improv scene and then discovering the elements that make the scene special.
Participants will get a chance to jump into the fast-paced world of short-form improv.
Designed for teens ages 13-17, this engaging summertime program helps participants build confidence, enhance communication skills, and embrace their unique voices.
