M10 Workshop: Let’s Get Physical — Acting Within Improv with YONI LOTAN

  • Mettlesome Theater 800 Taylor Street, Suite 9-156 Durham, North Carolina, 27701 United States (map)

Workshop Description: There are so many facets that go into becoming a good improviser that people forget that they still need to act on a stage! This workshop is dedicated to honing in on the physical and emotional moves that can embolden your performance and strengthen your scenes.

In this workshop, we’ll be doing a variety of acting exercises, physical movement training and scene work to help performers get more confident and comfortable with… well, performing. If you feel like you’ve been too in your head, or playing the same character type over and over again, or just want a safe space to work on your acting chops, this is for you.

Workshop Length: 2.5 hours

Prerequisite: All improv experience levels welcome.

What Should I Bring? Please wear comfy clothes and closed-toe shoes fit for movement. Bring a notebook and pen/pencil for taking notes. Bring a full water bottle.

Please read our Lab FAQ & Policies and Covid Policies before signing up for a class or workshop.
