Workshop Description: In this workshop, improvisers will practice four types of scenes we can encounter in longform improv: Clash of Context, Peas in a Pod, Weird World, and Slice of Life. We’ll focus on the best practices for these scenes, how to recognize and play their beats, and ways we all can initiate, receive, and support. This workshop is designed to meet students at all levels and is great for anyone looking to demystify scene work.
Workshop Length: 2.5 hours
