The short story: Two teams of improvisers create a world like you’ve never seen before.
The long story:
The Harold is a longform improvised format which emphasises patterns, themes and group discoveries instead of a traditional plot or story. It is performed around the world and is generally regarded as the core form of improv comedy.
While there are many styles of Harold, the structure follows a basic organization of an opening, three beats, a group game, three beats, and a run. If you’ve seen a sitcom, you’ve seen a Harold.
