  • Mettlesome at Golden Belt 800 Taylor St. Suite 9-156 Durham, NC, 27701 United States (map)

Learn how to perform a fully improvised musical comedy, making up scenes and songs on the spot with live accompaniment. Wednesdays.

In this 7 week course, you'll learn how to perform a fully improvised musical comedy, making up scenes and songs on the spot with live accompaniment. You'll learn the building blocks of an improvised song, and how to use them to create songs that sound like they were written. You’ll learn to sing with others on stage to produce banging group numbers, solos, and duets. We'll cover melody, lyrics, rhyming, when to start (and stop!) singing, and together explore the unique opportunities for comedy presented by musical improv.
