Dive into the art of storytelling through improvisation in this engaging longform narrative improv class. Designed for performers of all levels, this class focuses on creating compelling, interconnected scenes that build into a cohesive story. You’ll learn techniques for developing rich characters, establishing relationships, and weaving plotlines that captivate audiences.
Through guided exercises and group collaboration, you'll explore how to maintain narrative momentum, heighten dramatic stakes, and seamlessly transition between scenes. The emphasis will be on active listening, emotional commitment, and finding the humor and heart in storytelling.
Classes every Thursday for 8 weeks starting January 8th. This class will have also include five performances as part of the process.
