Learn the basics of long-form improv. Students will cover scenework principles like "yes-and" and active listening. Over this six-week period, we'll build the groundwork for comedic improvised scenes that'll jumpstart your love of improv.

COVID-19 Policy For Classes
All participants must show proof of vaccination prior to the start of the first session in order to participate in this class. Weather permitting, classes will be taught outdoors. Otherwise classes will be held indoors with masks required in accordance with local guidelines.

INSTRUCTORS
Jonathan Yeomans has been improvising since 2008. He's performed, coached and taught all over the Triangle, and studied under improv instructors from theaters in Austin, Los Angeles, Chicago and New York City. He's currently on local artist-inspired improv team GOLDEN AGE. He couldn't be more excited to teach at Mettlesome and hopes to spread the joy of improv far and wide. He also encourages you to stay hydrated. Winter is coming!
