101: Intro to Improv

Learn the basics of long-form improv. Students will cover scenework principles like "yes-and" and active listening. Over this six-week period, we'll build the groundwork for comedic improvised scenes that'll jumpstart your love of improv.

Classes every Thursday October 28 - December 9. Class show TBA.

COVID-19 Policy For Classes

All participants must show proof of vaccination prior to the start of the first session in order to participate in this class. All classes will be taught outdoors except in the case of inclement weather.

ABOUT APRIL DUDASH

April Dudash has been an improvisor since her junior year at the University of Florida. She has participated in long-form, short-form and musical improv as well as sketch comedy. April has performed with teams in Fayetteville, Raleigh and Durham, coached teams, and hosted and produced "Late Nite Tonite with April Dudash," a late-night talk show with live and filmed sketches. She is currently a performer with Mettlesome's "Golden Age."
