Mettlesome Scholarships
Mettlesome proudly offers a scholarship program aimed at fostering diversity and inclusivity within the comedic arts. Open to historically underrepresented communities and individuals facing financial hardships, this initiative aims to provide opportunities for aspiring comedians to cultivate their talent and amplify their voices in our classrooms.
How does it work?
Students can apply for a scholarship using the form at the bottom of this page. Scholarship recipients will receive one full class, free of charge.
Who can apply?
Applicants from all identities and backgrounds are welcome to apply, but preference for this scholarship will be given to individuals from LGBTQIA+, Disabled, and BIPOC communities, as well as those experiencing financial challenges. Mettlesome receives many applications and cannot guarantee acceptance to every person who applies.
How do I apply for a scholarship?
Simply fill out this form, and we’ll be in touch! A few things to note:
You can apply at any time, but new scholarships start at the beginning of each term.
You must apply separately for each class you wish to receive a scholarship for.
For any class, applications must be received no later than one week before the first class.
If received later than that, you may have to wait until the next term.
